TREASURE KEEPERS KENYA MINISTRIES

Recently I was in the hospital with malaria.  Mama Junior had come to stay with me and they charged me 200 ksh a night for her to sleep on the hard cement floor!!!  They had all this "Christian" stuff up around in the hospital, but the doctor who owned the hospital was not a Christian...he was after the money...I saw that when he offered to drive me to the small nearby town to use the ATM to get the money to pay my hospital bill and he charged me 500 ksh to take me....he gave me a ride in their new ambulance...he just pulled into the petrol station and told me I had to put 500 ksh into fueling the vehicle!  I was so surprised!

All the way back to the hospital he was telling me of his plans....in seven years he would be able to retire.  Two of his children were doctors and they would be coming to take over the hospital so that he could then travel around the world!  I kept thinking of how the Bible warns us not to make plans without considering God while this man was talking.  I was thinking that he may never see those seven years..

Well, unbelievable but true, there was an announcement on the news that this doctor had disappeared for 4 days and they found his body in a pit and his car parked nearby.  It seems he was a drunkard and apparently he had been robbed and killed!  I remembered the conversation we had had...

He was after money and had no use for putting God into his plans...now where is he?  Just a good lesson for all of us to remember that it will never profit us to gain the whole world and lose our own soul.
