Second Corinthians 4:5,6,7
(5) For we preach not ourselves but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Christ's sake. (6) For God who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. (7) But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us.
WHAT WE ARE ABOUT
We have this treasure in earthen vessels. The treasure of the Word of God is precious and to be cherished, to become a part of who and what we are, to guide our lives, to teach us and admonish us, to instruct us in righteousness.
The vision of Treasure Keepers Kenya is to expound the truth as presented in the Authorized KJV Bible....salvation comes through believing on the only begotten Son of God and in His precious blood shed for our sins that we might repent and be restored to a right relationship to God the Father who forgives our sins by His grace and bestows upon us the gift of eternal life.
Treasure Keepers Kenya endeavors to teach believers the value of the Word of God and keeping it as a treasure within their hearts by knowing the scriptures and understanding them and applying them to their lives as the standard for walking before God in truth and righteousness. Not our own self-righteousness, but in the righteousness that comes from being hidden in Christ. Our body is the temple of God and therefore we have this Treasure in earthen vessels to glorify Him and to give us the power to enable us to preach the gospel and make disciples.
It is through reading and studying, applying, and obeying the word of God as preserved in the AKJV Bible, and prayer, that we come to KNOW Jesus Christ and develop a personal relationship with Him. Just knowing ABOUT Him is not enough, we must KNOW Him. It is our desire not only to preach the gospel but to make disciples as we are commanded in God's word.
